Tow Truck Driver Opportunities

About The Position

Chesapeake Service Center is now hiring for a Tow Truck Driver. The Candidate must possess a CDL License with a current medical card and clean driving record. A Pre-employment Background Check; DOT Drug Test is also a requirement.

They must be able to independently operate a truck with a capacity up to 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Ability to coordinate and take direction from dispatchers
• Experience with basic roadside assistance, such as changing a tire
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Possess a strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to operate towing software to manage and log dispatched calls
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
